"Showtime" is forging ahead, towards his ultimate goal in becoming a Welterweight World Champion. Currently ranked 7th in the world, this 25 year old contender, has performed all around the world, and is well respected both in and out of the ring. Although he was born and raised in Cleveland, Shawn has stated that he represents "Northeast Ohio," as he has lived all over the Cleveland and Akron area, and graduated at Stow-Monroe Falls High School in 2006. Upon turning pro after the Olympic Games in 2008, Shawn had the opportunity to train with, Future Hall Of Fame boxing Champion Manny Pacquiao in 2009 and again in 2011. Since then Shawn has gone on to win 21 pro fights with 1 draw and is focused on creating a legacy of his own. "I have enjoyed boxing because it has afforded me the opportunity to travel around the world, and establish great relationships, as well as perform and dazzle crowds with my God Given talents, which is my favorite part. I have also been blessed to develop a great relationship with Eric Martin. The 1st time I laid in a Ultimate Sack was during my senior year of high school. I remember sleeping through the night and when I awoke the next morning, I was excited and said I'd get one as soon as I could! Eric Martin believes in Team Porter and has become a big sponsor, a big supporter, and a true friend, and I am forever grateful for my relationship with Eric Martin and Ultimate Sack.
